CAFM’s Youth Sunday, held July 30, 2017 and every fifth Sunday, proved to be an extraordinary worship event. Youth Sunday is usually a time when the youth of the church participate in almost all phases of the worship service. On this particular Sunday, the youth were noticeably small in numbers. They demonstrated, however, the fact that where ‘two or more are gathered, God is in the midst’.
Ushered in by a youth-led praise and worship session, CAFM worshippers received God’s word delivered by a familiar guest speaker. Rev. Kenny Samuel Jr., son of our own Bishop Kenneth and Co-Pastor Jean Samuel, is a product of CAFM’s Youth Ministry.
Rev. Samuel’s message was centered on the question ‘What Are You Dreaming?’. He expounded on the fact that throughout the Bible, God speaks through dreams and visions. Rev. Samuel reminded us of what is written in Acts 2:17: ” And it shall come to pass in the last days, saith God, I will pour out of my Spirit upon all flesh: and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, and your young men shall see visions, and your old men shall dream dreams”.
